Bath+Bubbles+Snuggles=Fun to be One!

This is sweet Talon. He just turned one. Happy birthday little guy. Yes, I know. I work with this family a lot! And I love every minute of it(tears and all buddy-still love ya)! His mom and dad are wonderful to want to capture his every milestone...and I am fortunate to capture those in images to add to their family albums. I loved this outdoor bathtub idea she had and then sweet snuggles with mom and big sis after were simply perfect!

mom kept him happy for a second...

trying to figure out why he's in the middle of a grassy field in a warm bubble bath....

oh, the sweet toes.

Back to the warm house for some snuggles with mom...

and big sister...

happy birthday sweet boy!

Luther Love

There are few things in life that bring such joy as a child's laughter(especially when you are going through a hard time)...One thing for me that is like therapy when life gets tough, is doing what I love with photography...and boy this kid bring the joy with him! We met up at Crooked Creek Park in Chapin this week to do a 2 year old photo session with little Bryson. Of course, I had to capture that joy on his beautiful mama's face too!

They had all kinds of props which makes it interesting and a lot of fun for them!

I want a bike like this one...he looks pretty serious about it, but I think I would be too;)

More Rockin Toddlers and Heels

We headed to our friendly neighborhood loading docks in Chapin to capture...
the cutest rocker chick in the world !

love the rusty forklift and her pose in this one...
she's a natural

These kids love their mom like nothing I've ever seen!

This session took a drastic turn from the get-go. We were intending to get some great shots for Talon's One Year birthday with his new drum set. When he encountered not only me at first but then the cold(if we only would have waited one day, right?), we ended up going a totally different direction, which worked out great! Christina is their mom. You've seen her before. Christina=Cool Mom. So, this was not a surprise that she brought along Payton all dressed up and ready to rock and roll!! And am I glad she did!

Here she was actually trying to get her little brother to play with his drum set.Since he was not into the whole photo shoot idea at this point, we just focused in on Payton, the rock star of the day!! You'll see the great shots we did get of Talon in my next post.

Of course, no shoot with Christina is complete without a pair of ROCKIN heels!!

Talon decides to check things out....

but it was all about Payton in the early part of our time together;)

thanks for trying, sweet boy...you should see the bubble bath he is about to explore.

nice rockin with ya P.
